USB Tethering - http://mobiletech.knguyentu.com/2009/11/motorola-droid-how-to-tether-via-usb.html

Thanks to Darkbleed @ AndroidForums.com for finding this.

Things you need
  1. Bluetooth access on your PC/Laptop
  2. PDANet Droid Software v2.11, use your Droid and go to this URL (http://www.junefabrics.com/a)
  3. Some patience and some luck.
Note: PDANet Droid Software v2.11 is currently in beta. Keep in eye on their main website at http://www.junefabrics.com/android/index.php for the official release with the support.

Before installation or start of anything, on your Motorola Droid, go to Setting -> Applications and check "Unknown Sources". Now go to the URL in #2 above with your DROID browser and install PDANet 2.11 on your phone.

Once it is done, try to pair your phone with your PC via bluetooth connection. Once pairing is successful, you need to create a Dial-up Networking Connection (DUN). Whether you are using XP, Vista, or 7, setup the Dial-Up Networking Connection. When asked what modem to use, select the Bluetooth Modem Driver. It will ask you for a username and password, select you won't need to use one. It will ask you to for a phone number to use to dial out. Use "123" as the phone number.

Now all the setup is done. Let start fresh with the actual connection. You don't have to do this step, but i like to do it anyhow. Reboot your PC and reboot your phone.

Once both starts up, re-establish the the bluetooth pairing. After pairing is done, bring up the DUN you've created and click on "Dial" or "Connect". Whoa La! You are now connected using bluetooth and active tethering too!!

It is that simple!

Share your feedback! I would love to hear it. Especially speedtest.net result too!

Setting Up Bluetooth DUN for PdaNet

You can install the latest version of PdaNet directly from the phone by going to http://junefabrics.com/a in the Android browser. This is the only option for Mac or Linux users. If you have Windows, you can install PdaNet from the computer end which also supports USB Tether. After enabling Bluetooth DUN in PdaNet for the first time, you need to pair your computer with the phone. On Android go to Settings->Wireless & networks->Bluetooth Settings and check "Discoverable". Now using the Bluetooth configuration software on the computer end look for the Android pone and pair with its "Dial-up networking" service. When you create a new dialup network connection over the Bluetooth modem, just use "123" as the phone number and blank username/password. You only need to setup pairing once.
Since different systems come with different Bluetooth configuration software, you can Google "bluetooth dun setup instructions" if you need more help.

Tried it, can't get pings to the gateway or DNS servers from the PC. Will try again later tonight at home.

Also, unless you're a doctor, you want patience, not patients.
